Here we hope to answer some of the many questions our clients may have about the process – if there is something we’ve missed please let us know and we’ll add it to the list below - Theses plenty of info here but we think we've covered most of the questions you may have.......

How do i book a course ?

Booking a course couldn’t be easier - you can choose to pay online or request an invoice.

Email your details to  and one of our team will call you back or alternatively you can complete a Registration Form on the website.

How can I find out if there is any space on my chosen date?

Please email and we will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours.

How do I pay?

Buy Online:  Allows you to purchase the course there and then by clicking on the ‘Register Now’ icon next to the course of your choice and completing a new registration account form.

By Invoice:  complete a registration form by clicking on the ‘Request an Invoice’  icon next to the course of your choice, this once submitted to us will generate an invoice for your course and have it issued to you in 24 hours. The Invoice becomes payable 30 days after issue to secure your place.

Either way the operations team will confirm your registered place on receipt of your application and the process begins.

Please note:

Fees incurred for Wire Transfer or other types of payment are the responsibility of the client and are not payable by STG. Please ensure the full invoice fee is covered.

Time delays by Wire Transfer should be factored in by your accounts departments as they can take 7 days to process and Synergy does not add this time to the due date on the invoice. Payments need to reach Synergy’s account by close of business on the due date or the place will be cancelled.

What does the fee include?

The price includes all the materials you will need, plus lunch and refreshments whilst you are with us.

What happens after I book?

You will receive confirmation that the booking has been made and about two weeks prior to the course we will send you joining instructions via email. This contains a map, as well as further information on your course. A week before you are due to attend we will send you a reminder.

Learning Objectives Questionnaire

We have Learning Objectives Questionnaires designed to establish individual training needs. These questionnaires represent a critical part of the course refinement process and enable our Trainers / Consultants to tailor each course to suit the individual needs of the delegate. If appropriate to the course these will be sent with the joining instructions and should be returned to prior to the course taking place.

What happens if I can’t make the date?

Contact us as soon as you can and we can discuss alternative arrangements with you, there will be an admin fee for changing a booking made.

What time do the courses start and finish?

The start and finish times do vary slightly, which will be detailed in your joining instructions, however as a guide expect to start at 9am and finish at 4.30 pm.

How many people will be on the course with me?

To ensure the quality of our training, the maximum number of delegates is limited and will vary from course to course. The maximum number of delegates on any Synergy Training Group course will be 15.

Value Added Tax

Synergy Training Group is instructed by HM Customs and Excise to charge to its customer’s tax at standard rate in respect of all costs incidental to the supply of its training services. – This is currently 20% in the UK at time of publishing.

How early should I plan my training in the UK?

Synergy’s scheduled open courses are in London and Birmingham in the UK and run throughout the year. Our Courses are updated regularly with more courses being added monthly. It's recommended that you plan to attend an open course at least three months in advance. You can take advantage of early bird discounts when paying at least 3 months in advance and these typically offer a 15% discount. Synergy’s Terms and Conditions apply to all booked courses and show all relevant cancellation periods.

Both London and Birmingham have excellent airport and train facilities giving easy and quick access into the central training venues we use. Travel directions can be provided on request based on your course and venue.

Are there any visa requirements when travelling to the UK for training?

Adult professionals who are not European Union / EEA or Switzerland residents can travel to the United Kingdom for a short course, are subject to Student Visa requirements, as outlined by the UK Border Agency.

How does Synergy support my visa application?

Synergy will provide you with a personalised letter of invitation showing your intention to attend one of our courses. The letter will assist course participants in their application to the British Embassy / High Commission when applying for Visas.

Does Synergy make the accommodation arrangements for me?

Synergy does not normally get involved in booking accommodation for delegates; however we are more than happy to provide you with a list of accommodation which is local to training venue. You will need to make the arrangements with the hotels directly and arrange your travel to the UK. Proof of accommodation may be required for your visa application.

Am I required to pay VAT when booking my course in the UK?

If VAT is not applicable in your country then you need to request a manual invoice and advise at the time of requesting that VAT is not payable in your location. Synergy will remove the VAT content of the invoice fee prior to issue. Please request manual invoices via email from

How is my training in the UK acknowledged?

Synergy issues certificates of attendance, diplomas or the specific qualification credits on completion of training. Many of our training programmes are registered trademarks cover standardised syllabus and thus result in internationally-recognised
